Kin Ho History

Kin Ho has a rich history that dates back to the 1940s when the wood and pallet production business was first established in Johor. Over the decades, the company has grown and evolved, with the second generation taking over the business and officially registering it under the name Kin Ho Timber Sdn Bhd in 1982. In 1993, the company moved to a larger production site in Kempas Lama, and then relocated to its current 4-acre factory in the same area in 1996.
In the early 2000s, the third generation joined the business and Kin Ho continued to expand with the acquisition of a 10-acre property near its current factory to set up a second production site for pallet and green biomass manufacturing nearby. The current factory will mainly be used for internal sawmilling supply. |

Kin Ho plans to continue evolving its operation with a goal of upgrading
both production sites to full automation by 2028, in line with its move towards Industry 4.0 vision.
As a part of our commitment to sustainability, Kin Ho will also be focusing its efforts on the upcoming green biomass manufacturing initiative to generate renewable energy from wood pallet processing waste. By doing so, we aim to reduce ash produced from coal burning, thereby reducing pollution as we work towards a more eco-friendly and sustainable future. |
